Now what Uno role is/would be as an SCD, his responsibility will be to ensured consistency, look out through the series and assist with the design in general. Having said this, he won't be/isn't alone considering how things are nowadays.

Looking at the champions of Nishio/Suzuki shouldn't be the CD, it seems that everyone fears is that they will be the CAS for all episodes+the design will not resemble Ikemoto. Which isn't going to be the case when some designs has already been altered

I am starting to think
that

1)people really don’t know what Uno’s role in BORUTO.

2) people really like false narratives

I do wonder would Nishio gets this much attention if Suzuki was the one kept doing promotional materials(DVD covers, Calendar, KV..etc..etc) for the franchise.

On side note guess Nishio fondness for BORUTO didn't get across to the fandom

To be clear, my stance is that Ichiro Uno[夘野一郎] is fine when he is currently in a franchise, which is a sub character designer[サブキャラクターデザイン]/chief animation supervisor総作画監督][/animation supervisor[作画監督]

Public Service Announcement:

For those who champions #189, you know Uno output on BORUTO lessens to the point where he is able to fulfill HiroYama's request and polish the character sheets to near perfection.

Now imagine he had more on his plate for Part II

On that note, you will most likely see the interpretation of Ikemoto more due to where the anime was heading at toward the end of the first installment and that Nishio's designs tend to be the hardest to get right when animating them...lol

Having said that, you still won't see a 1:1 due to the nature that it varies from person to person. Now, as I said earlier, the staff will be drawing from the design they are more comfortable with, that can be either that be Suzuki/Nishio/Ikemoto/Kishimoto.

Now with TBV, there is original work that they will draw support from, but isn't Nishio going to do everything ? No, he never did. The workload was always divided between the CDs. e.g, Suzuki was most in charge of female designs...

Now to why didn't they go full Ikemoto in the beginning ? Well, to have to remember that there was no original work to draw from at the initial start of BORUTO. Not to mention, the constraints that the staff dealt with during anime production.

To think that having Nishio/Suzuki remain the main character designers of the franchise means no Ikemoto's designs in the anime..Now that is a kinda idiotic, especially when the anime itself was leaning more towards his designs near the end.

Speaking of anime, I assume this is what everyone would prefer, going into the 2nd installment:

監督: 甲田正行
キャラクターデザイン:西尾鉄也/鈴木博文
サブキャラクターデザイン:夘野一郎/藪野浩二/都留稔幸
アクションディレクター: 山下宏幸
総作画監督:夘野一郎/藪野浩二/清水義治

Now, with that said, there were various references for the staff to pull from, which were Kishimoto/Nishio/Suzuki. And with BORUTO, they added Ikemoto into the mix. With that, you will see that each animator depicts things differently, especially when no one draws the same

After seeing some Aizawa_aiminn
responses(twiiter) regarding Tetsuya Nishio[西尾鉄也], It seems that people are confusing Nishio with other artists in the franchise, like Hirofumi Suzuki[鈴木博文]. Which is understandable considering how everything was being framed surrounding BORUTO

A pretty solid first chapter for the 3rd arc of TBV.   Now the question is, will Mamushi  be the opening act, like Ryu, or the main attraction to the arc, like Jura.. On a side note, it looks like BORUTO will be over thirty volumes.

Interesting how, despite being so committed in some aspects, the animation is allowed to fluctuate between asset usage that feels timely and blatantly more modern Yoshinari school (he's co-AD apart from being Kaneko's mentor) sequences. Easy for Pansto to get away with it since it always mixes ideas

Yuto Kaneko is at the epicenter of this one. Co-responsible for the story, fleshed out into a script by Takahisa Ishibashi. Storyboarder, co-animation director, art & concept designer, you name it. As the studio's foremost Monster Freak, you know what this skit is going to emphasize the most

Panty & Stocking S2 #10-B is maybe the coolest thing the series has done. Evoking oldschool vibes can be fun, but it's a played-out concept. "Crappy VHS recording of a Conan-ish fantasy series dubbed into a language you don't know" is much more specific, it feels like a real artifact you came across
