Enormous respect to the No Man's Sky team for sticking with it for TEN YEARS, providing free content updates. That is not an easy thing to do. It ended up being a solid game, that they could've just let die, but they didn't

That's why I cheat and use the symmetry ruler haha! A front on view is very rare to be honest so don't worry about it being perfect

Full 3/4 pose; as long as you use the measurements from the front and side views you can't fail. More of the side plane is visible. Make sure to follow the midline over the forms; even here I drew the mouth a little too far in

With 3/4 views you just have to remember to move the midline over the forms, and that one side of the midline will be foreshortened. The farther eye remains the same height but becomes compressed laterally

Side views, and @unclehive.bsky.social's Lyren because she must be viewed from the side at all times. I find that the height of the head is slightly longer than the length from the side

There's a lot of nuance that I will get into; a smaller bottom third e.g. the distance between the base of the nose and the bottom of the chin can make a character appear more feminine and vice versa; i.a.

Head proportions from the front. Remember the point on learning proportions is so we can push and pull the different divisions and stylize. If you are unclear on how I got a measurement don't hesitate to ask!

Yeah her design is probably the best of the bunch but even then her clothes are one big untextured piece of fabric that could use some divisions
