Great to see BALANCE trial published!
Large RCT of >3,000 patients, >50% in ICU, 7 days non-inferior to 14 days for (mostly) GNR BSI. Solid-organ/stem-cell transplant & neutropenia were excluded.
Note: 24% in 7d group received longer duration
