The government is looking for traditions that define communities for recognition as UK living heritage.
What local traditions would you submit? (also, has someone told the Oxford Civic Society/ Oxford Preservation Trust?)

May Morning would make it on the list, surely? oxfordclarion.uk/may-morning/

The Goring Gap from Lardon Chase is a spectacular view of Streatley and Goring on Thames, which are picturesque villages on the borders of Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
The River Thames runs through the valley on its way to London and cuts between the Berkshire Downs and the Chilterns.

The Springline Project. Myself and Rebecca Carrozza (the two artists) explore the 4 mile Springline Route in this lovely film by Hedley - who very kindly gave up his time to do this for us. Connecting communities, nature and creativity.

With one colony left in Yorkshire, the Dark Bordered Beauty is on the brink of extinction in England 🚨

After a wildfire in May 2025 destroyed part of the moth’s breeding site, it has never been more critical to expand its range to other areas.

The Springline Project - a unique collaboration between ecologists, artists and local communities to create this stunning 10-metre mural that we revealed to a packed audience in Cholsey on Friday! Thank you to everyone who made this happen #MendtheGap @annadillon.bsky.social @ukceh.bsky.social

I've had a busy 2025 and this is why! My first public mural in collaboration with Becky Carrozza. On Friday, we presented all 10 panels to the public. 110 species included in this continuous landscape.
So many people to thank. Especial thanks to
@kitenet.bsky.social and other ecologists.
So thrilled to witness this 10 metre long artwork by Anna Dillon and Becky Carrozza at the launch of the Springline Project. Absolutely mesmerising artwork of the very highest standard. Proud to have been involved and also to have pulled the sheet off!

1/1. After the Ruins by Hugh Clout was a book I studied for my First World War exhibition back in 2018. I was interested in learning how land can recover after war. Hugh's research focused on Northern France after WW1. 92% of homes in Gaza have been destroyed & over 60% of their infrastructure.
