I tried to get someone on “the proper path” by showing them American History X a long ass time ago and somehow made it worse cause I did not take their media literacy into the equation and it still haunts me. 😭

For context, dude from the “moderate right” was talking about public image when there’s “too many” people with migration background walking in the streets. Upon people requesting for him to reassess his statement and apologise, he said to ask daughters about how they feel.

Right wing politician in Germany be like: “Ask your daughters how she feels”. The thing we take issue with is that we earn less for the same work, that we’re incentivised to be mothers and wives, that men do not respect us.
Don’t use my existence as means to spread your right wing rhetoric.

Thanks for the outpouring of love for my lil baby. The picture wasn’t a super flattering one, but it was from when I just got back from vacation last week and he greeted me and made the post vacation blues a lil more bearable.

Cancelling/postponing streams for a few days. My cat, Greywind, passed away after suffering from (presumably) a diabetic stroke. Gonna cry and play some Pokémon and appreciate post about the absolute force of handsomeness that lil man was.
