I was walking along the coast at Trefor on the Llyn on Thursday when I suddenly saw this big pod of bottlenose dolphins close to the shore, feeding and jumping and whistling. I thought they were whales at first - they were huge!! #Dolphins #Llyn

It's in Pembrokeshire in Southwest Wales. There is just one nice cove there after the other - you need to go one day!

The beaches are stunning, aren't they? The Gower really is incredibly beautiful.

Just a five minute walk from YHA Manorbier: Church Door Cove. And because the hostel is a bit out of the way, there were hardly any people around. Good for swimming, too!

That sounds very tasty, thanks for sharing. I will have to get some za'atar which I hadn't heard of before (plenty of Middle Eastern shops around where I live so they will probably have it).

I mostly stay in YHA hostels when I am travelling around but treated myself to a night in a nice B&B on the Gower. Even the loo was amazing! (Western House in Llangennith)

I'm using my newfound freedom after being made redundant by travelling around South Wales and exploring the Gower and Pembrokeshire. So much nicer than being stuck in a stuffy classroom all day - so thank you, Mr Headteacher.
