The beautiful Barbican Gate at the entrance to Tollymore Forest Park, Bryansford, Co. Down.

Set at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and along the Shimna River, with its historic bridges and rich woodland, this area is truly a feast for the eyes.

Spotted these lovely forest fairytale houses earlier today in Triglavski narodni park, Slovenia. 😉The iconic fly agaric fungi (Amanita muscaria). 🍄 Beautiful to look at but highly toxic so definitely not the eating variety.

The Church of St. Volbenk sits 488m above sea level on a natural terrace overlooking the Poljanska Valley. It was built in the second half of the 17th century. A really peaceful beautiful setting with only some friendly cows for company.
