Harvest from our poor battered snow peas. This Wellington weekend has not been kind to them 😞

Maybe they don't like ginger?

Just heard we've been granted a little internal research funding to analyse social media narratives around pay equity and librarians 😁

I can't recall ever seeing it on a menu before we left the UK in 2013. Maybe things have changed. On the other hand, I'm veggie so never really looked at the chicken dishes hard. I'd say it certainly wasn't as popular as here or as CTM

Butter chicken isn't really a thing in the UK, or it wasn't when I last lived there 12 years ago. Chicken Tikka Masala is probably the nearest equivalent in terms of ubiquity etc. No idea if there's a CTM pie in the UK!

For an English graduate, Willis does not know her Shakespeare well. I think she must be referring to the "let slip the dogs of war" quote which *encourages" unleashing battle and strife, not defusing it.
Screenshot from RNZ website: "Willis told Morning Report the phrase often cropped up in politics and dated back to the time of William Shakespeare, who referred to calling off the hounds in his play Julius Caesar."

What Shakespeare quote is she referring to? "Let slip the dogs of war"? That has a completely different meaning

Ferry under rainbow again - seem to be making a habit of these.

Kind of made up! Roasted the pumpkin in olive oil with some garlic cloves still in skins, popped them out when soft. Pureed them together with seasoning. Stirred in some parmesan. Frozen chopped spinach, defrosted, squeezed out water, added ricotta until it looked right, parmesan, seasoning.

Spent the afternoon making pasta with two fillings - pumpkin and spinach/ricotta.

Same - our bathrooms and downstairs entry way (which has little natural light) and stairwell are white. Otherwise, we embrace the sauna vibe.

We've used HungryPC with no issues.

I don't think I've heard Stanford mention school libraries once in all her catastrophising about kids' reading and literacy in Aotearoa. The links between reading for pleasure and literacy are well-established - what better way to support that than through school libraries with librarians.

And his focus on Regan is telling - President Trickle-down himself.

Running a country is not analogous to coaching a sports team - he's so shallow.
