people are being sooo weird abt this album. like they were weird about ttpd but this is on another level. it's not my fav of hers but with 12 albums it's kind of hard for it to be 😆 meanwhile ppl on tiktok are apparently accusing her of racism and eugenics?? (i'm not on tiktok, this is what i heard)

honestly i liked midnights and /really/ liked ttpd. i think there's good stuff here too but bc the album is so short if there's a few songs you dislike it's already like "uhh". ttpd was way too long but at least then if there were 5 songs you didn't like it didn't matter lol

sometimes i'm glad that i don't have the choice about when to turn on the heating bc then i don't have to feel guilty about turning it on too early... but actually tbh it's good bc otherwise i'd turn it on halfway through september bc i hate when the temperature inside drops below 21c lol

yeah it's like... i think she just thought it was a cool idea and went with it but it doesn't really work. she might even know the source material but she said she wanted to blend in modern stuff and instead it seems she wrote a love song and went "oh, let's add ophelia to this!"

the more i see people quote the lyrics for the fate of ophelia the more they annoy me but i think i have to accept that it's this album's gorgeous. aka a lot of ppl love it and i think it's one of the worst songs on the album lol
