News: During the federal takeover, there were fears that involuntary commitments would spike with crackdowns on homelessness. Data from city agencies and emails from federal officials suggest it didn't happen.

D.C.: Applications for rental assistance reopened this morning, after being closed for a year. When you go to the site, you wait to be let in (I waited 45 minutes). Then it gives you a number to call to make an appointment. I've called four times with no answer. @streetsensedc.bsky.social
