I am delighted to be welcoming back the lovely Morton Gray this morning to talk about her new box set now available on Amazon for £0.99. Morton worked for many years in the electricity industry in staff development and training. She’s a qualified hypnotherapist and Reiki Master. She enjoys crafts, especially mosaic crochet, history and loves tracing family trees. Having a hunger for learning new things is a bonus for the research behind her books.

I delighted today to welcome to my blog the lovely Nick Morrish aka Chris Blackwater. Nick is an engineer-turned-writer from Leeds, who lives in Hampshire, England. Written under the pen name Chris Blackwater, Emergency Drill, the first novel in his Danny Verity, PI series was set on a North Sea oil rig and shortlisted for the CWA Debut Dagger Award. The second book in the series, Dead Crude, is set in an Orkney oil terminal.

I’m thrilled to welcome Jan Baynham back to my blog today to talk about her fabulous new novel, The Silent Sister, which takes us to the sun-soaked Ionian island of Kefalonia during one of its darkest times—the 1953 earthquake that devastated the island and changed countless lives forever. After retiring from a career in teaching and advisory education, Jan joined a small writing group in a local library where she wrote her first piece of fiction.

I was very lucky to able to read an advance copy and found it absolutely fascinating to experience history through the eyes of Luisa’s characters. It’s a great read and one I thoroughly recommend. Luisa lives in South Wales, and takes inspiration from the Welsh countryside, towns, history, and of course its people.

I'm chatting to Patricia today about her debut novel, The search for Happiness. Patricia lives in Cardiff with her husband. Having spent her working life as a nurse and then a nurse lecturer at Cardiff University, she’d intended to write a reference book on Reflective Practice after her Masters’ thesis in that subject. However, her creative juices took her on a different path towards fiction and romance and set particularly during the second world war.

I’m delighted to be welcoming Rose Amberly back to my blog today, not least because it means another fabulous book in her Kendric House series is coming out – The Five Colours of Hope. When Rose Amberly was little, she pestered her mother for stories every night (and morning and afternoon.) In the end, her parents taught her to read so they could have some peace, but very soon she pestered them for books and more books.
