prior to the popularity of llms, i used the word "delve", now i avoid it. also, when having to do the "core grammar" software/tests for a legal research & writing class, legal writing seems to use em dashes quite a bit. there is a ref in article that harris & biden uses em dashes, both are lawyers.

as i study for finals for the asynch law school classes, criminal/burglary is on one of the finals. various books recommend analyzing based on real life scenarios. this, unfortunately, is one of them.
