Breakfast time - for the most part, demons of the Vale feed off the emotions of Lingerers, trapped souls that roam the Vale and are neither here nor there. They are usually overcome with bad emotions, so they leave an unpleasant aftertaste.

Sometimes Zee dreams he has a family. It’s almost wholesome. And for some reason, they’re always redheads? He always wakes up agitated. Demons of MourningVale don’t have families. And whatever those dreams are… they’re definitely not supposed to follow him here.

So this is XIII. He doesn’t really have a name (or a last name). People here just call him Zee, well, his acquaintances do because no one in MourningVale really has friends. Like everyone else in this place, Zee has no idea where he came from or what he did in the "past save" to end up here.

Okay so I watched the new trailer and just putting it out there: I can only hope a kind soul makes all that gorgeous CAS base game compatible. Its all I care about and I’m not purchasing any more packs anyway.

I know it's mostly a coincidence, but a pack about absolute monarchy is really tone deaf with what's going on in the world right now + with the Saudi buyout. I also read there's only 1 monarch per world, so this means the African neighborhood can indeed be a colony. This shouldn't even be possible.

I watched the gameplay trailer and...nope. This is a weird mix of fairytale, medieval and modern monarchy. So the sims world was an absolute monarchy all along (where monarchs set rules and taxes while elected politicians do nothing?). And Get Famous celebrities should have scandal gameplay too.

I find these dual systems very frustrating, and it’s one reason why I hope this really is the last EP. I don’t need more packs that just iterate on the same ideas and contribute more bloat to the game without letting you tell new stories.

Watched the trailer. I wouldn't buy anyway but I'm relived EA is making it so easy for me. All I see is reused gameplay (Get Famous), reused assets (Tartosa) and a lot of "trailer magic". I've seen some excitement around and don't want to rain on anyone's parade so I'll just stop here.
