Speaking truth to the federal overreach taking place right now is in itself an act of bravery. The attack last night against
@ilhanmn.bsky.social is terrifying. I am proud she held her own. We must condemn attacks on elected officials, and we will not be silenced in the face of injustice.

Another resident has been murdered by ICE in Mpls. We cannot be made whole from this continued loss of life. Say his name: Alex Pretti.

How many people will die at the hands of this rouge force before we wake up — as communities, elected officials, and as a nation? ICE OUT NOW.

ICE has murdered a resident in, and from, my district. I am angry, sad, and without words save these: ICE MUST GO. LEAVE MPLS. This cruel and inefficient federal immigration action is only sowing terror, sadness, and bloodshed. Please bring calm to this tragic moment.

Our community came together on Labor Day to stand up for working people. We deserve fully funded schools, healthcare and child care we can count on. Together we’re building an economy where we can thrive and where billionaires pull their weight.

I’m excited to endorse Dan. He genuinely cares about creating parks and programs that everyone in Minneapolis can use and enjoy.

Tell me why the rally with @peggyflanagan.bsky.social and @warren.senate.gov felt like a concert?? Everyone was energized and excited to send Peggy to DC to fight for ALL of us, not just the wealthy few.

We've lost two children with many more injured. I'm heartbroken that they would be targeted in their place of worship - what should be a safe space for all.

I am praying for their families and fully committed to taking meaningful action to stop this rampant gun violence.

National Night Out was such a good time. Good people, good food and great conversations. We’re a community that cares about each other and that love came through in every story shared.

It has now been five years since George Floyd was murdered in front of a crowd of bystanders on Minneapolis’ Chicago Avenue, by an MPD officer who was entrusted with protecting our community. 🧵
