Happy birthday to one of my favorite actors #BelaLugosi
Got the Peter Cushing box set at Monsterpalooza last week
One of my favorites of the Corman Poe films. The highlight for me will always the be the Black Cat segment.
Got to meet C J Graham and Tim Curry for @monsterpalooza.bsky.social
Just watched Targets starring Boris Karloff today. Easily the scariest film he appeared in. If you’ve seen the film you know what mean. If you haven’t just check it out it’s mandatory to all Karloff fans.

I hope this films get a proper blu ray release her in North America.
Maestro of Italian horror Mario Bava with horror icons Boris Karloff and Christopher Lee.

Finally started to dip my toe into Korean horror. Started off with Bong Joon Ho’s The Host 2006. While the story was bleak and depressing it’s was definitely a solid film and it’s far more than just a monster movie. Highly recommend for those who haven’t seen it.
What the 2017 Mummy should’ve been
One of the best films in Hammer’s library.
One of Bava’s best works and the film that introduced to Italian Giallo which has become one of my favorite genre’s in film.
Saw the film for the first time back in February and I enjoyed it way more than I thought. Very good creepy and unsettling moments and pretty intense ending that must have been shocking for the time.
My favorite Val Lewton film
I watched the film for he first time a few weeks and so damn fun. The movie I supposed to come off cheesy Cushing and Lee’s performances manage to make film feel more serious and entertaining.
While I feel this one is the weakest of the six Cushing Frankenstein films it’s still really solid. I also really like the homages to the Universal Frankenstein films.
My favorite Mario Bava film. Even in his 70s Boris Karloff can still be terrifying.
One of the best J horrors imo.
Got Frankenstein’s Bloody Terror (The Mark of the Wolf-man) today. Only one more Waldemar Daninsky film to get released on blu ray to complete the Hombre Lobo series.

You don’t see that in modern sentai.
This is a film I’ve seen a few years ago that I really need to rewatch, but I do remember liking it.
Currently my favorite Fulci film and it also happens to be his favorite of his filmography.
The Bloodthirsty trilogy is very underrated.
