Remember the hype a few years ago about paper bottles? Carlsberg, Absolut, Johnny Walker all made a fuss about them being the future.
So where are they now?

Remember the hype a few years ago about paper bottles? Carlsberg, Absolut, Johnny Walker all made a fuss about them being the future.
So where are they now?

After "doing concrete stuff" all morning, I've moved on to working in my notes: connecting dots, fleshing out my understanding of things where it was lacking.
This is all connected to my "real work" but often indirectly — so of course my brain tells me "this is not work".

Just received two samples of new make spirit - not sure I'm allowed to say who from. One is the standard recipe, the other is the same but fermented extra long — 336 hours. That's two weeks in old money. Looking forward to trying side by side.

Depends where you are I suppose. Marie Antoinette at the V&A is good. Lee Miller at the Tate is supposed to be very good - have tix but not been yet.

I was one of the lucky ones who managed to snag a bottle of the Rosemaund 10yo (bought with my own money, not a PR sample) - and I can tell you it is delicious: clear bourbon influence, hints of apple, rich texture.
