Dementia is not always a slow decline. Sometimes it is huge drops in ability to functions as before. And it may not go back to “what it was” even with immediate treatment and medication. That is the horrible part of the illness.

Organ donation saves lives. I was only able to donate eyes from my son, but he restored the vision for two people. It’s hard. It’s raw. It’s emotional. You have to make the decision right away. But why shouldn’t someone else benefit from my tragedy. I hope they love the chocolate eyes he had.
