I’m applying to clinical psychology PhD programs this upcoming cycle… wink wink👀✉️

And today is my birthday! Honestly couldn’t think of a better way to wrap up my first year as a masters student at University of Illinois :))

And special thanks to the friends who took my picture — it wasn’t easy to wait for my name to show up on the slides but we did it!!

I also got to attend two fantastic workshops – on variable selection methods (Dr. Sierra Bainter, U Miami) and SEM (Dr. Timothy Hayes, FIU). Both were incredibly informative!

#SRCD2025, aka my first conference, was a blast! I had the opportunity to give a talk at a paper symposium and present a poster. And I learned so much from the amazing talks and presentations throughout the conference! ⬇️

This is my first ever poster presentation! I had so much fun discussing this project and talking with people who dropped by! Excited to bring this work to APS in May!

Excited to present my poster “Psychometric Evaluation of the Regulating Emotions in Parenting Scale (REPS) in Sexual and Gender Minority Parents” at #aps25dc. My first time attending APS, and my presentation happens to be scheduled on my birthday, which makes it extra special!🤓
