Randomising 2,463 high-risk non-cardiac surgery patients to BIS monitoring showed reduced awareness under anaesthesia vs routine care—driving widespread adoption of BIS monitors to prevent awareness. The B-aware study was funded by the ANZCA Foundation. #ASM25CNS
