Books are my favourite form of art merchandise but my god its expensive to produce... and the labour/time costs so much more when a chibi charm you spend 1hr on sells for $10.

I've been preparing for a con in Nov. Getting overwhelmed by all the things I'm not good at in art or business...
Cons used to be more casual but the way people do events now is intense and Idk how I've gotten by this long lmao
I wish making small merch and drawing cute things came intuitively to me

I love this size for plushies (around 10cm) since you can bring them around and are easy to care for.
Aventurine's hat is much heavier than it looks ;; He has trouble sitting compared to Ratio... Heavy head lol
I was expecting it to be as light as Venti's but it isn't hmm

I finally cleared all my deadlines and I get to draw on my own terms again yey. I'm having a lot of fun doodling mindlessly without the pressure of 'finished work' but uh, everything faces left so I'm going to try to draw something facing right tomorrow...

It's deep in the night where I am and it's very silent. I feel a little chatty but there's no one to speak with. I used to talk into the void of the internet but these days I journal since the internet feels unsafe for my thoughts.
I kinda miss being a teen and being at home online.

My faves are from Fukurodani but I enjoyed all the characters~ I didn't finish HQ though 😭
