Being born under the sea, Aoi had always dreamed of breaching the surface (at the risk of exile) to see what Doma - and Eorzea as a greater whole - had to offer.
This is absolutely something that sticks with her as she travels the globe looking for inspiration for her dances.

Aside from that, I'd probably say shrine maiden things, relaxing in hot springs with her, and going on *actual* vacations (not ones involving a giant robot trying to kill everyone).

Aoi isn't actually great at playing instruments. The koto and harp are probably the only two she's good at, but she'd probably learn to play a guzheng if she ever had the chance.

Stephanivien de Haillenarte is penned to have created modern Machinists. At 30, he created the aetherotransformer which converts the wearer's innate mana into lightning-aspected energy for ammunition.
