6 attendees for board games and dancing yesterday was perfect for this intimate nook we found at Spark Social! We played Uno Dare, Twisty Tealz (Mandarin), and Lakota language game There’s an Elk in the House (in honor of the holiday). Such good times! #gaysian #quasian #dance #sapphic #dc

Yesterday’s lunch crew at Full Kee! We went to ShareTea a few doors down afterward, got some boba/tea, and then hung out in a shaded park nearby. Nice turnout for a last minute plan!

This film was so good! Highly recommended. We had a good turnout too, and went for Korean chicken dinner afterward.
We had a very heartening book discussion and hotpot on Sunday! Eleven attendees included refugees from Cambodia and Vietnam. Some of us are interested in more political activity with APIQS, something we’ve steered away from in recent years. Interested? Let us know!

This is an event for the sapphic and trans Asian & Pacific Islander diaspora community. Plus ones welcome. If you're not QAPI, please do not attend unless invited by someone who is.
3pm start
3:30-4:30pm Book discussion
5pm Eat!

We are asking folks to ideally read the book in advance for discussion, but it's not required to attend that part. Ressa's book is available in the D.C. public library system! We'll also be giving away one copy of the book.
