What an afternoon. Please celebrate our best ever rugby result. Our 8 team including some yr7s reached the semi finals of the Bradford schools cup and only lost to Beckfoot by a last second try. Joseph was our brilliant captain and Ronnie was just out of this world.

Our Yr7s played their first football fixture today. Trinity Bradford won but we played really well. Layton was our captain and Oscar our player of the day.

We have our first students entered now at the Yorkshire Rotary Accessible Games. If your child has any physical or learning difficulties including autism please consider entering them for this brilliant free event. Lets grow Team Appleton.

Our Yr 8 and 9 rugby team tried their hardest at the Bradford rugby championships. We had no wins but plenty of effort. Charlie was the captain and Ellis our star player.

We won our first football game of the season. Well done Yr11 beating Beckfoot Upper Heaton 1-0. Also well done to everyone who attended Yr7, 8 and 10 training today.

Our Yr9 football team, including some yr8s, are playing away at North Halifax Grammar school next Tuesday 23rd September in the English schools cup. Kick off will be around 4pm. Spectators are welcome so please come and support us if you can in Halifax.

We can confirm that the full range of lunchtime and after school sports clubs will become available to our students from Monday 22nd September. There will be the opportunity to sign up for these clubs next week and information will be provided in form time regarding how to do this. Thanks.

We are so proud of our Jayden competing for the Bradford city disability football team. He scored a hatrick and they won a tournament near Hull. Amazing.

I am over the moon with our Yr 9 boys football result this afternoon. We drew 2-2 with a strong Hanson team having been 2-0 at half time. This completes a brilliant final 3 weeks where we have been unbeaten in badminton, rugby and football.
