Working on a pipeline to automate some building steps I don't want to do all the time but I really should.

Well its almost the end of the year. Im sick but I'll start the year by reflecting and thing what I want to achieve in the upcoming year.

I really want to do more game stuff. I just dont feel like working in non game related work due to past experience. I want to work on cute things.

This year has been great. I learned alot of unreal engine and enjoyed my time developing with it.

For 2026 I am hoping to finish more projects using Unreal Engine and even Unity.

I love software and game development but I also love animation. Its hard to focus on one or the other. Its just so cool

Last couple of days did a little exploration using Github actions. I already had a azure pipeline setup that will use my computer as an agent and do automated Unreal Engine builds.

It's nice to see happen without me thinking too much about it. Self hosting made it more useful to me. Costs are scary

I took a break for a bit. I had lot of things happen this couple of weeks.

Brother graduated so we went and celebrate and I am just enjoying their company while they're on their break.

I will get back to working on unreal and showing what I learn soon.

Do you need a fun AI behavior in your unreal engine game? I can help develop it. I can find out a nicer way to manage npcs, unique characters and refine the pipeline from game design to implementation of game ai.

So would a guild master management sound like fun?

Im thinking of having the player organize quests and accept heros that want that quest. The fun is seeing if a copper rank hero being able to take down a rank plat demon lord at slim margins.

Huge respect to the people who worked on personal 5 main menu. Blending animation and menus in a nice way is very challenging.

For village life and project Neptune I would like to have more templates for the systems I want to make in the game.

I want to make a lot of systems and thats how I end up procrastinating. Analysis paralysis is real.

This game jam was fun. But I procrastinated alot more than I wanted to.

Its an issue I have, I need to manage my time better.

I am following gamedev blender courses to see if I can learn something new.

I would like to make my own assets so I can rely less on marketplace. It adds up.

I didn't stream it but I was able to do what I made a list for.

I have the rotation of player now to work in more that just 1 dimension of rotation.

As a bonus I have the movement also implemented with a blendspace.
