No Kings in Lexington, KY with my mom. Two former Republicans who once believed the lie that the GOP is the Christian party. Indoctrination is a helluva drug but so glad we woke up. Now we stand against Christian nationalism & MAGA because it's the opposite of Jesus' teachings.

Honestly, it shouldn't surprise us that the same people who claim Donald Trump is God's chosen are now making a Christian martyr of Charlie Kirk. Their idea of God is already skewed, their interpretation of scripture already bigoted and their beliefs already co-opted by right-wing nationalism.

Many Christians are now realizing that a lot of their friends/churches are either: tolerant of white supremacy or they are white supremacists. There's a grief & anger that comes w this realization.Don't let them gaslight u. Your instincts are right. Welcome to the fight against Christian nationalism
