Some indoor hotel setups. It's extremely noisy for >50MHz, but it's not terrible for higher frequencies if that's all you can do.

A quick setup at the Days' inn in Atlanta, Georgia. Even though it was winter, the sun warmed me up. Due to the proximity to the airport runway, there were planes every minute overhead. Caused massive interference in the WFM broadcast band.

The 3rd of November, just a quick setup on the side of the national highway in Cumberland County. 15m unusually quiet that day, but 20m wasn't bad. The same place I tried and failed to receive CARC from.

Tried to reach the peak of Loar Hill in Maryland on the 31st of October. Walking anywhere without a car, especially on steep residential roads like these, is just too dangerous, so I recorded halfway up. Some recordings in the light drizzle.

Dan's rock overlook in Maryland, USA. It stands at 882m above sea level, and it's the highest point in Alleghany County. Amazing view from the top, but it was relentlessly windy. The radio horizon is unreal.

A return to Selsey Bill on the 24th of October. Caught a DX competition running. Once again, the wind is a killer up there, but got an hour of I/Q up now. Obviously recorded with the trusty RTL-SDR & 2M dipole.

Hilly Fields in Lewisham. 4th of September. For a spot in London, it's surprisingly good. You're close enough to both Heathrow (LHR) and Gatwick (LGW) that you can clearly hear both of them on the air bands.

Selsey Bill, the 18th of October. Absolutely golden spot for European DX reception, probably one of the best DX spots I've personally been to. You can clearly see the Isle Of Wight from the tip; unfortunately, it's often very windy.

Herstmonceux Castle & The Observatory Science Centre, 9th of October. Heard a transatlantic broadcast on 10m here. The observatory is well worth a visit, unfortunately the castle was under renovation, I wasn't allowed inside.

Ditchling Beacon on the downs. Went on the 7th of September. The wind was so strong up there that it was forcing my laptop shut on the triangulation point, so I didn't get too much data, but it was worthwhile anyway. 248m above sea level
