While the Arlington Public Schools Secondary Math Team was at Gunston Middle School today, we saw our former administrative assistant, who moved from central office to Gunston this summer! She is happy, so we are happy! @gunston.apsva.us

Math Supervisor Carl Seward was honored to receive a gift from Reid Goldstein, former APS board member: a slide rule passed down from his father, a retired math teacher. Still in excellent condition, it’s a fascinating reminder of the tools educators once used to teach mathematics.

This week, Carl Seward and Sukhdeep Kaur attended #DataSciEdCon25 hosted by the amazing @Deb__Crawford & @padhuseshaiyer at George Mason University! A day of learning and fellowship. Data Science in the Commonwealth is growing thoughtfully and with people serious about engagement for all students!
