I bought a very cheap Stanley No. 6 #woodworking hand plane off eBay that's in remarkable shape. It's definitely post-war but before they got super chintzy. I'm not a fan of the kidney shaped lever cap, but for something that will just live in a bushcraft toolbox, you can't beat the price.

I bought a very cheap Stanley No. 6 #woodworking hand plane off eBay that's in remarkable shape. It's definitely post-war but before they got super chintzy. I'm not a fan of the kidney shaped lever cap, but for something that will just live in a bushcraft toolbox, you can't beat the price.
I will probably never forgive WotC for the Spiderman set, but what I've seen so far, the new Avatar: the Last Airbender set is pretty good. I have a jumpstart deck of Siege Engines/Swordmaster (WB), and it's crushing. We'll see how I feel about it after diving into some Standard.

My #woodworking dust extractor vacuum unit crapped out after 13 years. It just randomly turned on (during a conference call), wheezed a long, high pitched sound, and slowly ran down until it was unresponsive. I'm sad, but not distraught. They don't make the filters anymore. It was time. #RIP #HEPA

If the Mets don't make the playoffs, I expect both David Stearns and Carlos Mendoza to be fired immediately. I'm so glad I only gave them my money for one game back in May. The team is not putting a good or enjoyable product out there with any consistency.

Right now, we are exactly as far away from January 6th insurrection as the city of New York in Ghostbusters 2 was from Ghostbusters 1. I guess human nature closed that plot hole in Ghostbusters 2.

I wish it was easier to turn legal CLE PowerPoint presentations into a prose book. But I also decided my next book will be titled "So You'd Like to be Estranged from your Family". Because despite being an M&A attorney for 17 years, what I'm really great at is being that black sheep son. #M&A
