I do not think I have ever seen a team need a bullpen day in the ALDS or any playoff series before. At one point a month ago we were talking which of the 6 starters would go to the bullpen.

Hope I am wrong but I think huge blunders by Schneider will cost this series. Scherzer would look good about now would he not. Santander doesn’t look great right now either.

I really hate when an error really screws over a good inning for the pitcher. Same as a dropped ball or deflection/tip is an interception on the QB

Anyway you cut it, he is not a 4th line player. Putting him there is like putting a fish in the desert. 4th should be energy line that bangs and crashes. That’s not him. We will see I guess. Might not be on that line long.

He wants the cup. Has already made $92.5M. So this is way to give team money to build a few more pieces. Or he is gone. I think leaving $10M on table is fine when goal is cup or bust. He can live for eternity with what he has already
