It’s still not sunk in I own this house. I sporadically remember and get excited…then I need to send money on things like plumbers and that excite fades.

It’ll be worth it in the end right? RIGHT!

I have a tenancy deposit scheme certificate so it went into the type of account it was supposed to.

They have 10 days to give me the deposit back from the date the landlord and I agreed the deposit amount to be returned. So I’ll be letting them know I know that when they call me back.

Quick rant:

I hate that if I don’t provide money to companies immediately/quicly it’ll cause me a problem but when they owe me money the feet dragging to return it is wild.

I just want my deposit back from my old flat. Even my landlady is trying to get the letting agent to give me my money back.

I’ve gone with the one the plumber suggested which also happened to be the cheapest one.

I just need a non-leaking one until I can afford to get the bathroom done as a whole.

For the last 2 weeks I have been packing, moving, cleaning, decorating, spending money on unforeseen circumstances & generally doing THE MOST!

Today I am doing fuck all & I refuse to feel bad about it.

Sure I need to order a new toilet & there’s 2 walls unpainted in the living room. Who cares!

Pretty much all we have eaten is takeaway because we only unpacked the kitchen boxes today.

Also funny story bug my bed frame broke so we had 2 nights on a mattress on the floor. Fun times 😂

A week ago I got the keys to my house 🏠🔑

It was a long and stressful process to get there at 43! Since then it’s been full on cleaning and packing and moving and finding random bruises everywhere.

I’m exhausted but happy.

I’ve barely slept in a week, my diet is all over the place. Skincare we don’t know her. My body is covered in so many bruises I look like Cruella would make a coat out of me.
