I've been learning GPR the last few days. It's going good to get some pretty heavy use on my thesis site.
As a "young" (time in the field not age) archaeologist, I gave my first guest lecture today on using Small Uncrewed Aircraft System (sUAS) in Archaeology. It was fun. I am still not super confident giving presentations though. I guess at some point I will work through that.

I did a little photogrammetry of an artifact from the Old LSU Site, the original campus of Louisiana State University. Its now in the special collections of Hill Memorial Library on LSU campus.

When the State Archaeologist asks for help, I have to answer. This is my second time on this site excavating test units. This is a very interesting site that is a 1300-1600 CE shell midden but there is likely an earlier, probably CE 0-500 occupation of the terrace as well.
