hidden in the villages of akseki and ibradi in antalya, the traditional button houses are one of the most unique examples of local architecture. their walls were built from stone, while strong cedar wood beams were placed across them, sticking out like rows of buttons giving the houses their name.

at first glance it looks like a normal swimming pool, but you’re only seeing about 10 cm (4 in) of water resting on thick glass. under that glass is an aquamarine "pool room" that visitors can walk into, so people above see them as if they’re underwater.
