Hi #Wordle_NYT,
Due to some of us not captured for the daily stats I'm re-writing the script that creates them. Until I've done that I won't be publishing the daily stats. When the new script has been written and tested I'll start publishing again starting with game 1,572.

Hi Cory,
My stats script grabs your posts up to 1,571. From 1,572 your posts aren't being found. I've tested all previous versions of the script but none of them see your 1,572+ posts.

Has anything changed with how your results are being posted?

Hi Cory,
I implemented duplicate post management today so that’s not the reason for your posts not being included. I’m investigating why your posts for 1,572 and 1,573 weren’t included.

I knew duplicate posts would occur eventually. Duplicate posts are now excluded by design. Another standard results phrase, Wordle 1574 2/6, is now supported. I'm slowly making the statistics more inclusive.

A post must contain two things to be included in the statistics:
1. The default results phrase;
e.g.
Wordle 1,574 2/6
or
Wordle 1.574 2/6
2. The tag (case doesn’t matter)
i.e. #Wordle_NYT

Statistics help 2 of 2.

If you forget to add the tag in a post it’s easy to fix:
1. Find the ellipsis (…) for the post - click/tap it;
2. Click/tap “Copy post text” from the pop-up menu;
3. Paste copied text into a new post, add the tag then submit the new post;
