NATO & EU leaders should not waste a moment going to Washington to kiss Trump's ass & pretend he isn't pursuing Russian victory and Ukrainian defeat. They should be putting boots on the ground in Ukraine, working to defeat our COMMON enemy in Moscow.

When leaders of NATO and EU nations say that Ukraine's "borders must not be changed by force", they leave out the next part implied in the "negotiated peace with Russia" rhetoric: Borders *can* be changed by *political agreement* AFTER force is used.

This is sick. The EU must stop lying. Stop appeasing Trump. The only "continued US efforts" are to coerce Ukraine to capitulate to Russia. The 28 point CAPITULATION plan was drafted in the Kremlin. It is not a basis for a just and lasting peace. The EU must REJECT this plan.

There is absolutely no reason for the European Union and NATO to behave like we are hostage to the policy choices and objectives of the United States on matters of international affairs, in particular, on Russia's war and genocide against Ukraine. We're not slaves or pawns to Washington.

We Canadians have a special interest in helping Ukraine defeat Russia militarily in Russia. We also have a special interest in standing up to our increasingly authoritarian neighbour who is helping Russia.

Oh, FFS, Russia is NEVER going to honour a ceasefire with Ukraine. It never has and never will. The way to get Russia to stop attacking Ukraine is to militarily defeat Russia in Russia. The end.

Today, and all of this weekend, those of us who support freedom, justice, democracy, the rule of law, and the rules-based international order must gather to protest in front of American Embassies and Consulates in our respective countries. Our silence is capitulation to Trump-Putin.

Trump has been actively pursuing rapprochement with Russia for the last year. He absolutely cannot explain why he repeatedly chooses Moscow over NATO allies. He offers no reason for how kissing war criminal Putin's ass and alienating allies benefits American interests.

The United States wants innocent victim Ukraine to surrender to the unprovoked aggressor committing genocide of Ukrainians. This is the death knell of international law and the rules-based order. It is also pure evil.

This is an act of aggression against Poland. This rail explosion and blockage should serve as a stark warning of what comes from not resoundingly defeating Russia. We either fight with Ukraine to stop Russia or experience more of these attacks on our own soil.
