It was an excellent well deserved win and I think will earn her a well deserved spot at the WTA Finals. The happiest bubbliest person on tour, great to see her succeed.
Appreciate your thoughts and agree, although I do think this being the end of a super long season amplifies the conditions issue. Australia can be absolutely brutal but players are returning from the offseason. Tennis needs more indoor courts and tournaments that are played in tolerable conditions.
Mac Jones to the Raiders next year @minakimes.bsky.social ? Geno is clearly done and Kenny Pickett isn’t a starter. Brady and his initial successor? Wouldn’t have to start over with the draft. #nfl
Yeah…everyone is done for the season. Except Anisimova. Props to her for staying fully locked in for all of Beijing. She looks to be very well positioned for taking the world no. 3 and deservedly so. Will be interesting to see how WTA finals shakeout.
It was the right call. You don’t kick a field goal to at best tie the game. You convert a fourth and 1 and get a fresh set of downs. Running it was the correct call. It didn’t work out. Doesn’t mean it won’t be the best option again. They do need a new kicker.
This is how I feel. We played 162 games to have another three game series that also happened last week and the week before. Not a big fan of the wild card series it doesn’t feel like playoff baseball. But baseball’s let’s play over 150 games to play more is just crazy. Too many regular season games.
I know it’s 2025 and network tv is football, reality shows and mostly unwatchable procedurals but I have to admit I find myself watching High Potential every week and I like it more than I did last season. Caitlin Olson’s character is extremely likable and the show is just easy to watch. 👍
I saw that Ichiro Suzuki played RF in scrimmage today and was wondering if there was any way whatsoever they could put him in for one play especially if they make the World Series. Guessing he would have had to be signed and named for the postseason.
Truly zero awareness whatsoever. Yes it was reminiscent of THAT Dak moment. What an unbelievable flub by Love and LaFleur. The Eagles in a class of their own in the NFC.
