Painting is so cool. You get to discover the painting has it takes shape. I cannot speak for other artists but for me, the canvas decides how it turns out. No decisions (or almost) are planned in advance and all is spontaneous. I’m just the instrument that translate the download.

Went to see the exhibition of Paul Poiret yesterday at the MAD (musée des arts décoratifs) in Paris and it was incredibly inspiring.
