Sometimes all you need in life is a pigeon sitting in a donut- So here he is, behold his splendour ✨🍩 🎩✨ This hand drawn, little, dapper creature was born from a simple reminder to allow yourself to be silly from time to time, and not to let the mundane stresses of life consume your energy.

When a lovely friend asked if I played Silksong yet, he learned I hadn’t even played the first Hollow Knight game.

Now playing Hollow Knight, and wanting to illustrate this beloved bug was the perfect excuse to try out pastels for the first time! 💖✨🎨

So excited to share this piece here! ✨ The first time I watched Spirited Away I adored the tea party scene. So when it crossed my mind I could create one of my “Bitter Sweet Creature Treat” pieces with it, I couldn’t resist grabbing my sketchbook! 💖

The piece that started it all 🥰✨ “Floating Silence” was created to represent the ideas and feelings I had trapped in my head when I was afraid to be my authentic self.
It was the turning point that made me realize I could create what made my heart sing and not what people expected me to draw. ^^
