All correct, and people should be allowed to go that fast in a city. But a lot of that damage was done by FFs. The hood is removed to cut the battery to render the airbags inert, and the door was cut off for patient access.The front fender was probably removed to access the door hinges for removal.

we also never did the kamikaze thing kids do now and some of the reaction from people is legitimate, but much of it is not and is just from the irrational hatred of people on bikes that some have.

We should definitely do that, but I’m not sure how much that will prevent teen males from doing stupid teen male things. Riding bikes is better than a lot of other things they could be doing.

It’s not just kids. I get passed by many grown men going 50k on these things on my commute on a bike path where only a max of Class I e-bikes should be allowed.
