How is an ex DEVGRU guy so bad at disguises? Is that a part of what they do?
arpeggiator1972.bsky.social
Was there any news on the current plan?
arpeggiator1972.bsky.social
Yeah, I’m planning on retiring in Europe for that and soooo many other reasons.
arpeggiator1972.bsky.social
That doesn’t include copays.

Between my employer and I we pay $35,000 a year for a family of four.

All correct, and people should be allowed to go that fast in a city. But a lot of that damage was done by FFs. The hood is removed to cut the battery to render the airbags inert, and the door was cut off for patient access. The front fender was probably removed to access the door hinges for removal.

Most of that in the form of a drink though. I supplement with gels as needed

I love gels 🤷‍♂️
I have zero natural athletic talent, except I can take in 120g/hr off the couch.

Someone should play Raining Blood on a bike wheel. Get to it internet!

Melvins also do a great cover of this.

… grass was fine.

Sometimes we would attract a crowd, thinking we were street performers, some would clap and cheer, other times we’d get yelled at.

… years in a row. We were gapping from one ledge to another where there was some grass, there was no one in the park but us. We were doing zero harm, but a cop came running over, practically foaming at the mouth, threatening us with arrest for ruining the grass. We had DH tires filled to 8 psi, the…

we also never did the kamikaze thing kids do now and some of the reaction from people is legitimate, but much of it is not and is just from the irrational hatred of people on bikes that some have.

I was once riding in a park in Chinatown with a friend who was national trials champion for several…

We should definitely do that, but I’m not sure how much that will prevent teen males from doing stupid teen male things. Riding bikes is better than a lot of other things they could be doing.

I’ve been riding bikes in the city since I was ten. I was never in a group as large as what you see now, …

Umm, what? There’s no way for that light smoke condition to be “burning hot.”

Those are the ones I have. They’re excellent

A cargo bike turns every errand into recreation.

That all seems reasonable. Similar to my state. But, like you said, without enforcement it doesn’t mean much.

It’s not just kids. I get passed by many grown men going 50k on these things on my commute on a bike path where only a max of Class I e-bikes should be allowed.

One of about a thousand similar beautiful scenes on my commute home by bike along the Harborwalk trail and The Neponset Trail. So much better for mental health vs being in soul sucking traffic on 93.

You have it. I hope Kraft takes a drubbing and you interpret that drubbing as a mandate to double down on mobility lanes, bus lanes, transit and getting rid of exclusionary zoning. Let’s make Mayor Hidalgo jealous of Boston.

Turns out electing the dumbest, tackiest man in existence might result in some national embarrassment.
