Football mostly, tons of politics, she/her
I'm just saying, the flight deck of the USS Gerald R Ford is 360 yards long and 80 yards wide.

Just post a goalpost at each end and have a boat to retrieve the balls.

Instant classic bowl game.

Chiefs should follow the Colts' lead and pluck a High School coach out of retirement to be their QB.
December 16, 2025 at 2:31 AM
Chiefs need to approach Minshew's people about an extension immediately.

Mahomes should be ready by next season, but it doesn't hurt to keep a guy around that's familiar with the offense and has a ton of starting experience just in case.

Philip Rivers today. #ColtsvsSeahawks #NFL

Assuming Patrick Mahomes is out for the remainder of the season, he notches his worst (but still damn good) season as a pro.

27 total TDs as he ends his season as the Chiefs 2nd leading rusher at the time he went down.

3400 pass yds, 422 rush yards, and 5 rush TDs. Gave it his all for KC.
December 14, 2025 at 9:57 PM
I don't care about being eliminated from the playoffs. I'm just worried about Mahomes. Hope he's ok.
December 14, 2025 at 9:22 PM
So if Moore's injury is serious, KC is missing their starter and backup at LT, their starter and backup at RT, and their starting RG.

They're rolling with an Intl player at one OT, a UDFA at the other, a UDFA at RG and a converted OT at LG.

Jesus.
December 14, 2025 at 7:26 PM
The playoffs are pretty much out of reach and the Chiefs could be eliminated as early as this week.

To make matters worse, Smith and Taylor are both out, as well as McDuffie.

The good news is we get more of a sample size to see what we have in Pole.
December 14, 2025 at 4:58 PM
With Chenal hitting the market, this off-season, the Chiefs should make a run at signing Simmons cheap.

Shouldn't be hard as most of his past two years have been spent on Practice Squads as far as I know.

But his athleticism would be a good add for basically no financial risk.
December 13, 2025 at 11:42 PM
If I were the Chiefs, who should be starting to plan for next year, I'd try to get Thrash on the PS if he clears waivers.

Would be a nice futures signing to round out the WR depth heading into the offseason.

As of rn, their 2026 group consists of Worthy, Rice, Royals, and probably ERFA Remigio.

Michigan needs Adam Stenavich as HC and Denard Robinson as GM.

Stenavich is currently killing it as the OC of the Packers, while Robinson is a Michigan legend who has held multiple personnel positions in the college and NFL ranks.
December 12, 2025 at 4:09 AM
If you've ever watched Necessary Roughness, a team with National Championship aspirations has a scandal and so they hire the most boring, ethical, straight-arrow coach they can find.

After two scandals, Michigan should do the same and hire Lovie Smith
December 12, 2025 at 1:32 AM
That would be stupid. Just leave Mike McCoy in charge rather than doing this. I'm sure McCarthy is an alright guy but the game seems to have passed him by.

There's no shame in him hanging it up and there's little benefit to a team hiring him.
December 11, 2025 at 5:04 PM
Given the job he's done with Bo Nix, Davis Webb should be one of the hot names for OC vacancies this year.
December 11, 2025 at 4:38 AM
Has there ever been a QB start a game for a HC that was younger than him? Because that could happen Sunday.

Harbaugh is a Trump supporter. Get rid of him. Like Butker, there's too many talented people at his position to waste time with that nonsense.
I think John Harbaugh has to be a favorite at Michigan.

Ravens were just decimated by injuries this season, and yet there have been whispers of Harbaugh on the hot seat, which are hard to understand.

For the Wolverines, it may come down to convincing him to follow his brother’s shadow in Ann Arbor

This could easily be a post about Democrats. Trying to take the high road while the GOP has no depth they won't sink to.
December 10, 2025 at 2:50 PM
Just a thought but has Tim Meadows ever played Sammy Davis Jr. and if not....why? The emotion behind that smile is IDENTICAL.
December 9, 2025 at 2:22 PM
Sad to see. But at least the Panthers can be reasonably confident they have their guy at QB.
Chance to reach the playoffs, per FPI:

Bears: 64%
Lions: 54%
Panthers: 30%
December 9, 2025 at 2:17 PM
I don't typically call players bums, and I won't call Butker a bum, because that would be an insult to bums.

How are the Chiefs paying this loser $6m+ (highest paid K) this year to be the 20th best kicker?

Not to mention his misogynist bullshit and Trump love.
December 9, 2025 at 2:14 PM
Me seeing Jason Pierre Paul and Philip Rivers work out for teams while the Patriots and Broncos are vying for the 1 seed and the Chiefs are on track to miss the playoffs:

So crazy enough, I think it's possible the Chiefs could be eliminated from playoff contention as soon as this week.

With a loss and wins by either the Colts or Texans, that would eliminate KC bc all the teams they could potentially tie with would have the tiebreaker over them.

For those unfamiliar with Heath, he was Ole Miss's leading receiver the year Mingo got all the hype in the draft.

He outperformed Mingo in college, but didn't test quite as well
December 8, 2025 at 10:26 PM
Notre Dame is pouting. That tracks. They've had so long to join a conference and didn't.
December 7, 2025 at 8:56 PM
Also, more meaningful games means more meaningful bowls which can only be a boost to sponsorship money.
This would literally fix every problem with the CFP. An automatic Champ qualifier from every conf and 13 at large. That way no matter what, every conference has a chance at the game. Then you can have room for 3 non champ B10, 3 non champ SEC, 1 non champ ACC, 1 non champ B12, then the PAC 12/G5/Ind
