I can totally see why my dad broke up with his fiancé after meeting my mom. We found her passport from when she immigrated here in 1954 at the age of 22 with her two younger brothers in tow.

I’ve been documenting the things we’ve been finding at my mom’s house. And even though it’s the home I grew up in all my life I’m still finding little surprises. Not the thread though, mum was a drapery & linen seamstress, she worked for decades with an interior decorator creating custom work
