I've had to start changing my sleep schedule for my day job. I don't really like getting up at 5:30am (not an early morning person)... but I'm shocked how I've been doing that for a full week now and I haven't had a crash (yet).

Instead I will be keeping things local next year. There are also many things I wants to do to my brand in general. I've been meaning to rebrand and update things for a few years now. I'm about to have the finances to do so, thus I must make the time for it too.

I will be starting a full time job soon, so there goes my time. The travel expense is anther factor. The economy is a whole ass thing right now, thus I'm not sure out-of-state shows are a smart bet for 2026.

My darlings, after some deep thoughts while driving home from LA this weekend, I'm thinking I might be skipping shows in Cali next year. Maybe no shows out of state at all.
There are several reasons for this. But to keep it simple, the big reasons are time and money.

There is a lot of confusion about the artist alley location(s) this year.
The AA isn't in the exhibitor hall, it's been split in two. I'm in Kentia Hall with many of my fellow artist. But there are also others over in West Hall.
Even with some signage, guests are still having trouble.
