I want them to speak with their hearts!!! It's gotta be messy and flawed and driven purely by emotion in the heat of the moment! That's what their character arc is for AHHHH

There's some places where I feel like the characters say a little too much out loud when I wanted them to be more implicit in their conversations... but it's not so bad that I think it's a problem so it's fine for now-

That makes me think harder about Sousuke and Yuichi's dialogues tho 👀

I'm doing this especially with Sousuke, he's the one that's least likely to be truly aware of his problems (or at least aware enough to spell it out, even if he's aware they're THERE yknow)

I know when the day comes where I go and make a polished vers of the story, I'll be revising some dialogue

I love when *I* get to make the connections about a character's intentions and issues when I read/watch something... so if you read any of my stuff and notice that they aren't explicitly saying something that leaves you wondering about the reasons - that means you gotta think about it 👀

The story explores how imperial structures mythologize nomadic heritage to erase border identities. Through a fictional Pan Turkic–inspired world, the novel questions who gets to define history, how memory survives erasure, and whether the desert—so often framed as silence—can instead speak.

I'm lucky I didn't have to grow up with everyone in one house or I'd probably go nuts! It was mostly just me and my older sister together, and a couple of our younger brothers.
Almost 30 years difference between me and my youngest sibling tho... that's madness! 😂

I already know Sousuke is an only child, just him and his dad, and Keiichi and Souji are also both only children too

Like ngl I kinda wanna give Yuichi a little sister but he's not really that close to his parents so he doesn't talk about them or visit them

Sachi and Chiba are sisters, and Nagao has his younger brother Kazumasa, and Yukito has a little brother too...

Considering how many siblings*I* have, I'm surprised there aren't more 🤣 Most of them come from the historic timeline too!
