I did a bulk order of fresh fish and it was delivered today. I do enjoy fish-on-the-bone but it’s been getting harder to find. Some supermarkets have done away with their wet fish counters and have replaced them with filleted fish in smaller portions with inflated prices. 🧵1/3

I’ve had an Orb spider living on the inside of my kitchen window for a month now. They’re not normally an indoor spider. Sadly I will have to move it back outside as I intend to clean the windows this week. Orb spiders in the UK are a family of Araneidae spiders. #spiders

Happy Sputnik Day. Sputnik 1, the first artificial satellite was launched into Earth's orbit on October 4, 1957 and marked the beginning of the Space Age. The name "Sputnik" also refers to the carrier rocket used for the launch, a Russian-language term for "fellow traveler”.

Actress Dame Patricia Routledge has passed away, aged 96. I enjoyed her portrayal of Hyacinth Bucket (“Bouquet”) in the classic TV sitcom ‘Keeping Up Appearances’. To this day my daughter laughs at me whenever I do a Waitrose on-line grocery shop. “Getting another Bucket order in, are you?”
