"The Troy Game" by Sarah Douglass is one of my favorite book series! I can totally get behind different flavors of Labyrinths! 😃

I know, I know, nothing really screams "Egyptian Labyrinth!" here. But if I zoomed way out, so you could see all the twisting halls, and statuary around the vicinity, then we wouldn't be able to see this crocodile man, who's about to fuck Perry, while he's propped atop Dr. Ryder, who's on all fours with his feet dangling into a pool of water.
I had to choose my priorities. 😜

Joshua marching troops around Jericho, and Achilles dragging Hector's body around Troy were counter-magic rituals that broke those cities' protections so they could be conquered.

I made a mistake. The author of "The Troy Game" is Sara Douglass. No "h," but still 2 "s"s at the end.

But, yeah, in the prologue she explains that MANY ancient cities used Labyrinths as protection spells to trap evil forces that tried to enter, keeping them away from the people living there.

I mean, I have a very difficult time trying to do other people's styles, so that's just a non-starter for me.
Filling a page with a TON of characters, however? I have to fight that urge off at least once a week. Mostly because it would take me a whole week just to sketch it. And another to Ink it.🤦‍♂️
