Finished up this small plein air painting by bequest of a friend. I started this work 2 years ago at a one day retreat. The tree is no longer standing, which I felt was an integral part of the painting. Pleasure doing this work, thx.

When I first arrived at our cabin this spring, our lot sign was in the final stages decay. There was no saving it. So I decided to laminate 3 pieces of 2x6 cedar and carve a new sign. It seems to be in favour by the summer kids over the previous one. Have a great week!
