True true. Like I said, I'm pretty unphased by this sort of thing so I'm really hoping it's just someone being dumb. Kind of a block and move on and just letting folks know not to do that sort of thing.

I'm just kind of assuming/ hoping it's just ignorance on their part and letting them know I don't do that kind of work.

Luckily years of 8am life drawing classes have completely removed my ability to be shocked by any kind of nudity.

I'm sure there are NSFW artists out there that are 100% okay with it but maybe don't just see "commissions open" and assume that all artists are game for that sort of work.

Also there's just not much in my portfolio that suggests I do that kind of work. 🫠

I'm not going to draw NSFW or smut/ hentai art that involves someone sending me references of their own anatomy.

I'm fine with drawing nudity and gore but I'm not really the artist to go to for porn.

Last quote repost made me go back and check on my old AMV account on yt out of curiosity.

Now I'm crying because it's 17 years later and people are still leaving nice comments on my ancient videos.

That's just really sweet, especially since the last few years have been rough re: creative work.

From the static in the sound design to the slow pace to the sense of "I know this isn't actually happening right now" it is singlehandedly the closest thing I've encountered that can get people to understand what my PTSD episodes are physically like.

There's a part early in FFVIIR where you have to follow Sephiroth through a hallucinated burning Nibleheim. You can't run. You can't fight.

Most people I know dislike it because you can't do anything other than follow a nightmare.

But it's an amazing depiction of what a PTSD flashback FEELS like.
