I will probably sell these, as in previous years. If there is a word prompt that fits with Yaz I'll be sure to try. If not I can aye tag one on at the end 😁

I always struggle early on tbh. Takes a while to get into a flow.

I'm never very sure tbh 🤣 It's always a challenge at least. That is at least consistent.

Ok, managed to get days 6 and 7 inked this evening. I wish I had picked a bigger size than A6 The old eyesight is struggling these days 🤣

Day 6 - Pierce
Day 7 - Starfish

#Inktober #Inktober2025 #DoctorWho
An ink drawing on A6 card. For the word prompt, pierce. The moment the 12th Doctor steps from the Tardis to prove Robin Hood was a myth but an arrow speeds past and pierces the Tardis. A pen and marker drawing for the Inktober word prompt Starfish. The 15th Doctor is hanging out of the TARDIS door in deep space. He is stretching out his hand to make contact with a giant alien Starfish. The starfish is reaching out to him too. Many other Starfish float around them in Space.

2 days behind in #Inktober now. I have stuff drawn, but I just don't have enough time left in the day to ink.

I'll post stuff as I finish it though.

Day 5 - Deer

I was at a loss on what to do for this prompt when I suddenly thought, Reindeer! Which, of course, means drawing Santa on a reindeer coming to the 12th Doctor's and friends' rescue in the festive episode Last Christmas 🎄
An pen and marker drawing on A6 card. A cartoony take on the moment Nick Frosts Santa Clause comes to the rescue of the Doctor and crew at the North Pole.

We are looking through a broken open door of the base out to the dark snowy landscape. We can see Santa riding a rearing reindeer in the snow. In the background stands the Tardis.

Day 4 - Murky

The Pirate Sea Devils rule from the high seas to the murky depths.
An inktober drawing on A6 card. A pirate Sea Devil stands in the foreground. In the blurry background the silhouette of rigging and flag can be seen.

Day 3 ( A day late) - Crown

A conspiracy is hatched to let an Alien werewolf infect Queen Victoria to take control over the Crown and the British Empire.
This is an Inktober pen and marker drawing on A6 card. From the Doctor Who episode Tooth and Claw. Queen Victoria is in the foreground with a full moon in the background. The claws of the Alien Werewolf are tearing through the full moon.

And here are a few couple more...

#DoctorWho #Inktober
A T-Rex spits oit the Tardis. A pencil and ink post card sized drawing. A marker and ink drawing of the 13th Doctors sonic screwdriver. The Doctor is in the background looking out at the screwdriver. An inkwash painting of the 12th Doctors famous eyes and eyebrows.

Day 2 - Weave

Ok, so it's not really a "weave", but a knit. I have to play a bit loose with the rules to match Doctor Who themes up to the daily word prompts 🤣
This is a photo of my day 2 inktober drawing. This piece features a stylised, cartoony take on the 4th Doctor, wrapped up in his famously long scarf. His slightly manic smile sits at the centre of the image, while the scarf coils around him, hiding the rest of his body and filling the frame with playful energy. A fun tribute to a classic character.

#Inktober2025 #DoctorWho #Moustache

So, here we go!

Day 1 - Moustache

Still the most famous moustache in Doctor Who. U.N.I.Ts very own Brigadier
A phto of my Ink & marker portrait of the iconic Brigadier—Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart—from Doctor Who. Drawn on A6 card, he stands front and centre in his classic uniform and beret, with the UNIT logo subtly sketched in the background. A tribute to a sci-fi legend!

So, in advance, I'm sorry 😁

I was visiting my Dad yesterday and he handed me this beauty! My first copy of The Lord of the Rings. It's very worn and well-loved. I took it everywhere with me from the age of 11, and read it every year, even at University. Worn but loved.
#TheLordOfTheRings #Books
A battered old copy of The Lord of the Rings. It's a later print of the "complete collection" edition. Not worth much due to its condition but it has been read and re-read and shows it

More than likely just an AI-created replacement job from a bad prompt written by a non-creative. Profit margins etc etc.

Glad it went. I was honestly just about to jump in. Great original art but you always provide so much value with the supporting goodies ❤️

Awesome little charity book stall find. I have the large format of this book that was bought for me when I was a kid. But found this lovely smaller-format version today.

#LifeOnEarth #SirDavidAttenbourgh
A photo showing the cover of the small-format hardback book, Life on Earth by Sir David Attenbourgh. The book cover itself shows the now-famous photo of A bright green tree frog with vibrant red and black eyes.

I have no idea why, or how, this got greenlit. I hope to be "pleasantly surprised". But as with the various Crow movie sequels or remakes, I expect it will lack the magic of the time and be a dud.
Sad.

Replaying the updated Tears of the Kingdom on Switch 2. It's such a great game. Taking the, winning formula, of Breath of the Wild and just taking it to a new level.

Today was very much a Jellyfish dawn after the storm.

#CompassJellyfish #Arisaig #Scotland #StormFloris
A tall photograph taken on a beach at Back of Keppoch near Arisaig, on the west coast of Scotland. The sand is covered in seaweed and broken shells. A Compass jellyfish is washed up and is stranded on the sand after Storm Floris. In the distance can you can see the coastline, the dark shape of Creag Mhor in silhouette framed by high stormy clouds. Some blue Sky peaks through.
