@jonnelledge.bsky.social I saw a waymo on the streets of London today.
There was someone in the driver seat but I still saw it. Thanks for reading.

My brother doesn’t know who Epstein is, he just calls these “the Paedo-Files”

I don’t hate it
Blanche: "I do not whether there are men out there that abused these women. If we learn about information and evidence that allows us to prosecute them, you better believe we will. But I don't think the public is going to undercover men within the Epstein files that abused women. Unfortunately."

Hi lads I’ve had a drink but with house prices where they are I think we should legally cap deposits at 2%

It’s still enough of a deterrent that you wouldn’t just spunk the money up the wall if you thought you couldn’t afford monthly payments.

And if you can’t? Fine, bank has it.

And here we are: the entire transatlantic alliance is now talking about Greenland, instead of talking about ending the war in Ukraine.

It’s cool how Labour managed to assail their own unassailable majority.

When I was an employer, foreign applicants needed a share code. I entered it online and the gov told me what limitations there were on access to work.
If I wanted to just employ them without going through the process I could have.
I don’t see how digital ID changes this tbh.

Reducing immigration harms the economy, which fuels public anger. That anger gets directed at immigrants, leading to more restrictions—and more harm. A self-defeating cycle we can’t afford.

The idea that immigrants and in particular asylum seekers have more rights than the rest of us is fucking Looney Tunes are any main stream politicians challenging this?

Basically everyone: “It’s not working something has to change.”

Same people: “Reshuffle within a year? Two of the great offices of state? They’re panicking!”

Look lads I’m not going to lie I have had a drink.

I look forward to being proved wrong in 5..4..3..2..1…

Is it mad to think Whitbread should just buy Costa back? If the price is £2bn then they pocket £1.9bn* from the previous sale and get their best asset back.

*I know it probably wasn’t all cash.
