This is a mistake, imo.
We can't expect people to turn out in inclement weather in the same numbers and have the big impact that we did on the 18th.
Organize people for a national no-shopping day or something.
Another rally with 40% of the turnout of the 18th? We'll get hammered by the right.

This is a mistake.
November 11 will be cold and possibly snowy or wet in much of the country, and the turnout will be much smaller diminishing the power of our last demonstration.
Imagine the spin the right-wing propagandists will put on that.

This is not in English but the story told is that innocent Columbians were killed by the US military when their fishing boat was disabled. The woman speaking is the cousin of one of the murdered fisherman.

I heard a decent report on the issue of these murders on NPR.org today. The attacks on these boats make zero sense from a drug interdiction standpoint for a number of reasons not the least of which is the fact that most drugs from the South cross over our land borders.

Given the Trumpist assault on the patriotism of all who plan to attend No Kings rallies, I urge every Democratic elected official to attend one. They shouldn’t speak—if there are speakers, better to br less partisan civic leaders and citizens—but they should stand in solidarity with the rest of us.
