<div class="field field-field-text"><p dir="LTR">Israeli forces launched attacks on Gaza and carried out home demolitions on Sunday despite the ongoing ceasefire agreement. </p>
<p dir="LTR">Wafa news agency reported heavy gunfire east of Gaza City from Israeli forces, while troops simultaneously demolished residential buildings in the neighbourhoods of al-Zaytoun and al-Shujaiya. Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from targeted areas.</p>
<p dir="LTR">In Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelling and gunfire was reported, accompanied by demolitions of several residential structures. Israeli forces also reportedly carried out three air strikes on Rafah, in southern Gaza.</p>
<p dir="LTR">The death toll in the Gaza Strip since Israel's genocide began in October 2023 has risen to 68,858, the majority of whom are women and children. At least 170,664 others have been injured.</p>
